Welcome Spring! Quick Reminder for Staying Injury-Free

It's been a beautiful week and with the arrival of spring, many of us are getting back outside and increasing our activity levels after the winter months.

As you ease into walking, running, or other outdoor activities, be mindful of lingering ice on pathways and uneven ground. These can pose a risk for slips and strains.

It’s also a good time to reintroduce a simple stretching routine before and after activity. Even a few minutes can help reduce the risk of injury:

  1. Quad stretch (30 seconds per side)

  2. Hamstring stretch (30 seconds per side)

  3. Calf stretch (using a step or curb)

Consistency with these basics can go a long way in supporting mobility and preventing unnecessary strain.

If you’re unsure whether something you’re experiencing could benefit from treatment, feel free to reach out. I’m always available for a quick consultation by phone or email.

Best,
